Having defeated the goblins in the immediate area of the temple; the party hears a commotion from down the hill in town. Investigating, they see a group of goblins preparing the set the bonfire fuel alight (while it is still in the cart) and push it into some buildings. The party moves to prevent this. They are joined by another man-at-arms named Grim. The party succeeds in defeating the goblin pyros and continue moving throughout the town; helping where they can.
They stumble across a nobleman being menaced by a mounted goblin and some goblin lackeys. The party rescues Aldern Foxglove. He is very appreciative of the rescue and tells the party to come find him in the next day or so. While in town for the Festival, he is staying at the Rusty Dragon.
The party completes the defense of Sandpoint. Because of the brave adventurers, casualties were kept to a minimum. This fact is not lost on the townsfolk.
