The party continues from where they left off.  Brad begins healing Grim of the damage he received from the trap.  The party flies over the trapped section of the floor and moves toward the two doors at the end of the hall.  The party intends to continue with their plan of "stay to the right" when Vosh, notices some sounds coming from the door to the left.  The door is slightly open revealing a large circular room with a red stone counter ringing the room.  The party decided to investigate the sounds.  Grim leads the way in and sees Nualia standing at the opposite side of the room.  He also senses that there is something hiding behind the door ready to strike.  Combat ensues.  In addition to Nualia, who is very proficient in the magical longsword she weilds and has some innate magical abilities from her demonic arm, there is a yeth hound, Erylium the quasit has retreated here and later a demonic avatar/familiar spawned from Nualia joins the fray.  The battle is epic, with several members of the party retreating down the hall several times to escape combat so as to heal and refresh.  Grim stays as the main tank of the group, with Vosh's earth elemental straddling the dorway to leave a safe haven for the rest of the party.

The yeth hound is dropped almost immediately.  Then the rest of the combatants settle in for a long, drawn out conflict.  Thanks to the healing efforts of Brad and Del, the party never loses a party member, in fact, not a single PC goes unconcious.  The enemies are slowly whittled down.  Erylium is the next to fall followed by the first Lamashtu spawn.  Before the creature is killed, it quicken's the "birth" of another avatar.  The process is disgusting to behold and another deformed monster is brought to bear against the party.  Amidst magical spells flying both ways, the party critically wounds the new combat avatar and severely diminishes it's defensive effect.  The party kills it quickly and turns it's full attention to Nualia.  At this point in the combat, both the party's and the villain's resources are greatly diminished and the combat breaks down into a slugfest.  The PC's are ultimately triumphant and take some time to loot and go through all the "research materials" that are in the room.
